- Luba immigrated to Canada from former Czechoslovakia. After finishing her Chemical Engineering studies, she completed her Ph.D. in chemistry at McMaster University in Hamilton and an MBA degree at McGill University in Montreal, with a focus in marketing.
- Prior to joining the real estate profession, Luba worked for many years with multinational chemical companies, specifically Union Carbide Canada, Hercules Canada and National Silicates, in various management positions in research, new product development and marketing.
- Since Luba’s career in real estate began in 1988, she has consistently proven her ability to sell homes. She received many awards with real estate companies she worked for and was also ranked by an independent consulting company as being the top 3% real estate salesperson from approximately 20,000 real estate sales representatives of Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB).
- Luba also held a management position, with a Coldwell Banker real estate office and, HomeLife office, managing and training new sales people, being their teacher, mentor and advisor, taking care of administration and recruitment.
- Between 1991 and 1997 Luba worked extensively with several financial institutions and successfully sold many properties under Power of Sale. (Scotia Mortgage Corporation, Canada Trust and Royal Bank)
- Luba continues to keep abreast with new developments in her field. She has taken dozens of various courses related to real estate, all in relation to giving the ultimate service to her clients. She also has earned her professional Broker’s Real Estate designation in1999.
- Over the years as a real estate salesperson, Luba has successfully negotiated the sale of hundreds of properties, a skill, which could be worth thousands of dollars to her clients and customers.
